Considering the features in altitude environment, such as high moisture, high condensation, low air density, high ultraviolet rays and frequent thunder, and combining the mature operation technical experience of CSR rail transit products under the high-altitude special environment (Qingzang Line), CSR Wind Power has made massive enhancements and special designs on the basis of the batch operation of WT1650 machine type. This machine type maintains excellent low voltage ride through function, control and electric performance which could completely fulfill grid’s requirement to the complete machine. It is a new wind turbine which CSR Wind Power specially designs for high altitude environment.

1.Machine system design – the environment adapting design for core electric components, such as converter, generator, variable pitch driving system and yaw driving system, and the optimized design of complete machine control strategy ensure the long-term and reliable operation of the wind turbines under the severe environment of high altitude area;

2.Condensation proof system design – through mass design check, the specially designed blade could increase the output of wind turbines up to the hilt when the security is ensured;

3.Lightning protection grounding system design – the new protection system of high-altitude wind turbine directs at the environment of high altitude area: the lightning system is newly designed in strict accordance with international and domestic lightning protection standards;

4.Anti ultraviolet rays technology design – to ensure the safe operation of high-altitude wind turbine, the blade, engine cover, hubcap and tower all use new coating system and new design methods, which could complete meet the anti ultraviolet rays requirements.

Cooling system design – the cooling system is newly designed, has excellent ventilating and cooling performance.
